What “curated” means

Not a bidding platform. One verified referral.

A referral platform returns a list of licensed providers in your ZIP code and considers its job done. Clean Freaks Co operates differently. In each region we serve, we identify one partner per service — the one whose insurance, references, training, and household etiquette meet our published standard — and that is the partner we refer you to.

Because there is one partner per service per region — not a rotating pool — the partner you reach is the same one next time, building familiarity with your home over repeat visits. Crew background checks are part of the standard we hold that partner to: re-run on a defined cadence, not once at hire. The vetting is not a one-time event at signing — it is ongoing.

What you avoid is the part most homeowners dread: the search itself — the reference calls, the insurance verification, the gamble on a name from a marketplace. That work is done before you ever inquire.

The services in detail

What each service covers, and what it does not.

Carpet cleaning covers wool and silk-blend area rugs, wall-to-wall carpet, stairs, and upholstered seating where the fabric permits. Partners are verified to handle natural-fiber rugs, which require cold water and gentler extraction than synthetic broadloom. Post-construction soil, pet odor, and move-in and move-out scenarios all fall within scope — but require disclosure at inquiry so the partner arrives with the right equipment and chemistry.

Window cleaning covers interior and exterior glass, screens, tracks, and frames. In desert markets, hard-water mineral removal is a distinct step — a separate treatment from the wash, requiring the right buffering agent for the mineral load in the local water. In coastal markets, chloride and marine film requires low-alkaline chemistry to lift without etching. Both conditions are verified in the capability review for the relevant partner. Two-story and skylight work is within scope where the partner is equipped and the architecture permits safe access.

Pressure washing covers pool decks, paver and travertine patios, driveways, and exterior walls where soft-wash is the appropriate method. Travertine and stucco require controlled-pressure work — enough to break biological growth, not enough to widen the pores or disturb the surface finish. Partners are verified to calibrate pressure per surface type and material age. We do not list partners who apply uniform high pressure across surface types regardless of condition.

Do I hire Clean Freaks Co directly, or is my contract with the cleaning partner?

The service contract is between you and the local partner. Clean Freaks Co is the referral layer — we vet the partner and connect you. The partner carries the insurance and performs the work under their own license. Clean Freaks Co is responsible for the match and the standard the partner was held to; the work, the schedule, and resolving anything that goes wrong are the partner’s.

Can I get all three services — carpet, windows, and pressure washing — through one inquiry?

Yes. Submit a single inquiry and note each service you need. We will confirm which partner or partners are active in your region for each service and pass your inquiry along. The partner handles scheduling — including the order of visits, for example sequencing exterior pressure washing before window cleaning so glass is not re-soiled on the same day. You submit once; the partner takes it from there.

What makes this different from a cleaning marketplace or a home-services app?

A marketplace surfaces every available provider and leaves the selection and vetting to you. Clean Freaks Co does that work in advance, to a specific published standard. There is one partner per service per region, not a rotating pool of bids — you are connected to a partner who has already cleared the standard, not handed a list of strangers. The model is designed for households where service quality is a material requirement, not a convenience preference.

How do you handle a surface material that requires specialist treatment — a silk rug, for example, or antique window glass?

Disclose it at inquiry. When you submit, note the specific material, its approximate age if known, and any prior treatment history. That information reaches the partner with your inquiry. If the partner’s capability does not extend to that material safely, they will tell you before a visit is scheduled — rather than after, when the issue is already visible. We do not list a partner for work they cannot perform to the required standard.

What if I want service in a city or region that is not listed on your site?

Submit an inquiry anyway and name the location. We maintain a partner review process in markets adjacent to our current coverage, and some properties in non-listed areas are available on inquiry where the home and partner capability are a clean match. Where coverage does not yet exist, we will tell you plainly rather than route you to a partner who has not cleared our standard. Expanding into a new region takes months, not days — the vetting process is not abbreviated for speed.
