Why we exist

The high-end household does not want to vet strangers.

It wants a cleaner it can trust without running the search itself — without the reference calls, the insurance checks, the gamble on a name from a list. That is the gap Clean Freaks Co exists to fill.

The cost of one wrong cleaning visit — a damaged surface, a missed appointment on hosting day, a security incident, a stranger lingering near the safe — eclipses years of savings on the lowest bid. And yet most of the options available force exactly that gamble: marketplaces that auction the job, neighborhood referrals that go stale, national chains that operate as volume businesses behind a premium veneer.

We do that work up front. In each region we serve, we identify the local cleaning partner whose insurance, references, training, and household etiquette meet the standard our clients expect of any service that enters their home. When you inquire, we connect you with that partner — and they take it from there: the quote, the schedule, the work, all under their own contract and insurance.

The partner standard

What every partner must meet before they are listed.

The list of Clean Freaks Co partners is short by design. Every partner we work with has cleared the same standard. Where a partner falls below it, the partnership ends. Where one exceeds it, we surface them on the relevant pages of this site.

  1. Insurance. Minimum two million dollars in general liability coverage, plus commercial auto on every vehicle. Documentation reviewed annually. The buyer is the named beneficiary, not Clean Freaks Co.
  2. Background checks. Every crew member who will be on the property has cleared a current background check by an accredited provider. The check is re-run on a defined cadence, not once at hire.
  3. Two-reference verification. Two existing client references, both contacted by us, both speaking to consistency over time rather than a single positive experience. Where a partner cannot provide two, we do not list them.
  4. A signed code of conduct on site. Discreet phone use during a visit. No idle conversation with household staff. Unmarked vehicles where the partner can accommodate it. Before-and-after work photos a partner uses for marketing must not identify the client, the home, or its location — and a client may ask that no photo of their property be used at all.
  5. Confidentiality, both directions. The code of conduct binds every partner to keep client names, addresses, and home details private — and Clean Freaks Co holds the same line on the information you share with us.
  6. Capability match. Every partner is reviewed for the specific services we list under their name. A carpet-cleaning partner is verified to handle wool and silk-blend rugs. A pressure-washing partner is verified to calibrate pressure by surface so travertine and stucco arrive home unetched. We do not list a partner for work they cannot perform safely.

This is the standard we hold every partner to before their name appears on a city page. It is the standard we will hold any future partner to as we expand. It is the same standard we ask you to hold us to when something feels off.

The model

How an inquiry works.

When you submit an inquiry, it comes to us first. We send it to the local partner for your area — the one we have already chosen, checked for insurance and references, and held to our standard. The partner contacts you directly, provides a tailored quote, and schedules the work, all under their own contract and insurance. You deal with one trusted local pro — not a marketplace of bidders.

You will see the partner’s logo and details on the city pages where a partnership is signed. Until a partner is signed for a region, those pages stay general — which is why you will not see a direct phone number until there is a partner to name. You tell us what you need; we connect you.

Where the same partner serves multiple services in the same region — say, carpet cleaning and pressure washing both handled by one local partner — you will see a single unified partner banner across those pages, with a note that they handle the full service set in your region. Where different partners are best suited to different services, you will see each surfaced individually under their own name. We do not pretend to one partner where curation has chosen several.

Discretion

Discretion is built into the standard.

Every partner signs a code of conduct that keeps each visit low-footprint — discreet phone use on site and unmarked vehicles where the partner can accommodate it. Clean Freaks Co does not name clients, does not solicit testimonials tied to addresses, and does not post recognizable interior shots of the homes we serve. A partner is free to use before-and-after photos of their work to market their business, with one line they do not cross: the images must not identify you, your home, or where it is — no recognizable interiors, no address, no location tag. If you would rather no photo of your property be used at all, tell us or the partner, and that is honored.

The reasoning is simple. A household that hires us has already decided that privacy is part of what they are buying. Treating that as a feature would mean treating it as optional. It is not. It is the table stakes of working in the homes we work in.

The team

Small by design.

Clean Freaks Co is operated by a small team — small enough that the same people review every partner and every region themselves. We do not route through a call center. We do not assign account managers by territory rotation. The team that vets a regional partner is the team that sets the standard and watches it.

We will not list staff photographs or biographies on this page. The work we do is connective; the local partners are the people whose hands the household will see. Discretion runs in both directions — toward our clients, and around our own footprint.

Clean Freaks Co is a referral brand, not a cleaning company. We do not employ cleaners, own equipment, or hold a cleaning license. What we do is check local partners against a published standard and connect you with the one for your region. The partner performs the work under their own insurance and contract. Clean Freaks Co is answerable for the match and the standard the partner was held to — not for the work itself.

How do you select the partners you work with?

Partners clear a seven-point process before any client home is involved: documented general liability insurance of two million dollars or more, commercial auto on every vehicle, current background checks on all crew members, two contactable existing-client references, a signed code of conduct governing on-site behavior and discretion, a confidentiality commitment, and a capability review against the specific services and materials of the region. What does the referral model mean for how I pay?

Payment is made directly to the local partner under their own contract — not to Clean Freaks Co. The partner provides a tailored quote after reviewing your home; that quote covers the scope of the specific home and visit, not a generic rate. Clean Freaks Co does not add a visible surcharge to that invoice. Our role — checking the partner and making the introduction — is what makes the match possible, not an additional line item the homeowner absorbs directly.

What happens if I am not happy with the work a partner does?

You take it up with the partner directly — they performed the work, under their own contract and insurance. What Clean Freaks Co can do is hold the partnership itself accountable: a partner who handles a legitimate complaint poorly, or whose conduct falls below our standard, stops receiving our referrals. A region is better left quiet than served by a partner who has stopped earning it.

Do you expand to new cities, or is the current coverage fixed?

We expand when we have identified a partner who clears our standard in the new market — not before. Vetting a new partner takes months: reference calls, insurance verification, background checks, capability review, a period of observation. We do not open a new city page until the partnership is signed. Where a homeowner inquires about a market we do not yet cover, we say so plainly, and in some cases we can sometimes refer you to a partner for an adjacent location where an existing partner’s capability extends that far.
